Overgrown beds don't happen overnight. They sneak up on you - a few weeds here, some scraggly growth there - and before you know it, the front of your home looks like it's been forgotten. That's exactly the kind of situation we love getting our hands into.

Here's what we were working with on this one: a heavily overgrown entrance bed choked with weeds, overgrown plants, and compacted ground that had seen better days. The stone retaining walls framing the bed were still solid, but everything inside needed to go. We pulled it all out, cleaned down to bare ground, and brought in fresh soil and a deep layer of dark mulch to reset the whole space.

Once the bed was cleaned out, we had a good canvas to work with. New shrubs went in, plantings were spaced out properly, and the entire area got topped with a fresh layer of mulch that locks in moisture and cuts down on future weed pressure. Even the little details got attention - like the hand-laid stone accent tucked into the bed, a personal touch that ties back to the natural stone walls already on the property.

That kind of thing matters more than people realize. A front entrance is the first thing anyone sees when they pull up to your home - guests, neighbors, even just yourself coming home after a long day. Getting the beds cleaned up and properly mulched is one of the highest-impact things you can do for how a property looks and feels. Our crew handled every bit of it, from the heavy clearing work to the finish details.

This is the kind of landscape installation work we do all the time - not just maintenance, but actually getting neglected spaces back into shape and setting them up to stay that way. Fresh soil, proper plantings, quality mulch, and a crew that cares about the finish.
